Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with LiveTranslate. This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for purchases made through the extension.
1. Try before you buy
Every new installation comes with 10 free translation minutes. We strongly recommend testing the Service with the free trial before purchasing a minute pack, so that you can verify that the translation quality meets your needs on the content you intend to watch.
2. EU/UK statutory right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the transaction, without giving any reason, provided that you have not yet consumed the digital content.
By starting translation with your purchased credits, you expressly consent to the immediate supply of digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal for the portion that has been consumed. Any unused credits remain eligible for a prorated refund within the 14-day window.
3. General refund cases
We will issue a full or partial refund in the following situations:
- Duplicate or mistaken purchase — contact us within 30 days; unused credits are fully refundable.
- Service failure — if a technical issue on our side prevents you from using your purchased credits, we will restore the minutes or refund them, at your choice.
- Unauthorised purchase — if a transaction was made without your consent, contact us and Paddle immediately; we will cooperate with any chargeback / fraud investigation.
4. Refund calculation
Refunds are calculated on the proportion of unused minutes at the time of the request. Example: if you purchased the 300-minute pack for $7 and have used 120 minutes, 180 minutes remain (60%). The refund would be 60% × $7 = $4.20. Consumed minutes are non-refundable.
5. How to request a refund
Email bulenttum@gmail.com with:
- Your device ID (visible in the extension's Account panel);
- The Paddle transaction ID or receipt email you received;
- A brief reason for the refund (optional, but helpful).
We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer or PayPal.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — most issues can be resolved faster directly. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in the affected device being blocked from future use of the Service.
7. Non-refundable cases
- Credits that have already been fully consumed.
- Requests made more than 60 days after the purchase, unless a statutory right of withdrawal still applies.
- Dissatisfaction with translation accuracy of a specific video, provided that the free trial was skipped. We use the same AI models for the free trial as for paid minutes, so the trial is a representative sample.
8. Merchant of Record
All refunds are issued through Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record. The contract of sale for each transaction is between you and Paddle; we handle refund decisions on our side and instruct Paddle to execute them.
